Through our annual poker tournaments, we raise essential awareness and funding for pulmonary fibrosis. This year’s 12th Annual Irv Feldman Texas Hold ’Em Tournament was a remarkable success, generating over $100,000 to strengthen programs that support patients, families, and caregivers. With every event, we expand our impact and bring hope to those navigating this disease.

We’re proud to share that our partnership with the American Lung Association (ALA) in the fight against pulmonary fibrosis has reached an exciting milestone. At the 12th Annual Irv Feldman Texas Hold ’Em Tournament, we proudly displayed the new Learning to Live with PF workbook—a powerful resource developed in collaboration with the ALA.

The Learning to Live with PF workbook is designed to support patients, families, and caregivers affected by pulmonary fibrosis.

Feldman Family Foundation and the American Lung Association Unite

We’re excited to share that our partnership with the American Lung Association (ALA) in the fight against pulmonary fibrosis has already reached its first milestone. At the 11th Annual Irv Feldman Texas Hold ’Em Tournament, Danielle Trojenik, Executive Director of Greater Chicago ALA, joined us to represent this partnership and celebrate the progress we are making together.

Together, we have created the Learning to Live with PF workbook—a comprehensive resource designed to support patients, families, and caregivers affected by pulmonary fibrosis. This achievement marks an important step forward in our shared mission, and we look forward to the progress still to come.

The Gurtz Family Foundation for a Last Woman Standing prize! The Last Woman Standing in the poker tournament received a $500 prize in honor of Marlene Gurtz. The prize celebrated the perseverance and determination of the winning player just as pulmonary fibrosis warrior Marlene Gurtz battled her lung disease.
