The 11th Annual Irv Feldman Poker Tournament and Casino Night took place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Gibson’s Steakhouse in Oak Brook, IL. The event welcomed over 200 poker guests and 120 casino guests, where they were treated to classic Gibsons offerings with passed apps, carving stations, specialty desserts, and late night bites!
Additional final table winners received prize packages that included vacation trips to Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, electronic packages, staycations, sporting tickets, and much more! Everyone at the final table also received custom bottles of bourbon valued at over $150 each!
Special thanks to AJ Rudolph & April Oury from Poker Power who was was in attendance and gave free poker lessons before the tournament started to those looking to improve their game.
Finally, the Gurtz Family Foundation, in partnership with Poker Power, provided a $1,000 gift card to The Last Woman Standing. Our auctioneer, Chris Hensley, helped bring up the enthusiasm. Ted Chakos was our winning bidder at $3,250!
The Casino featured blackjack, craps, and roulette charitable gaming tables where guests competed for prizes such as a Chicago staycation, Apple watch, golf rounds, restaurant gift cards, and local experiences.
In addition to the Poker and Casino gaming, there was a silent auction that featured trips to New York City, Puerto Rico, Florida, and Mexico! Plus local hotel stays, shopping experiences, sporting events & memorabilia, and various gift baskets.
Guests also participated in the “Stack the Deck” raffle where Stratton D. won a two-night stay at The Peninsula Chicago, and Joel C. won a $1,000 Airlines gift card.
